Lewis Hamilton<\/a> has suggested that Pierre Gasly\u2019s victory at last weekend\u2019s Italian Grand Prix is likely to have hurt Red Bull<\/a>, especially as the Milton Keynes-based outfit had a poor showing at Monza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’m not sure he was treated fairly by Red Bull. I don’t think it was easy for him as a driver,\u201d Hamilton said after the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s not easy to regain confidence in another team, so I’m really impressed. He deserves this success and that should take him further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I think beating the team that demoted him [Red Bull] must hurt them.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Red Bull failed to pick up a single point at Monza, but they\u2019ll be hoping for better fortunes at the upcoming Tuscan Grand Prix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, Lewis Hamilton said that it seemed like Max Verstappen<\/a> was on his own at Red Bull in a slight against Alex Albon, who has struggled this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the shock victory for Pierre Gasly<\/a>, the Frenchman said he thinks he\u2019s ready to return to Red Bull but added that it\u2019s ultimately not his decision to make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I think I’m ready but as I said, it’s not up to me to make that call. When I get the right tools in my hand I’m really happy with the performance we’ve shown. I guess the strong results should be rewarded with something but we will see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The win has propelled Gasly to eighth in the F1 Drivers\u2019 Standings<\/a>, just five points adrift of sixth-placed Albon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Scuderia AlphaTauri have cemented themselves as seventh in the Constructors\u2019 Standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Italian outfit is now just 14 points off Ferrari, who had an abysmal Italian GP, with neither of their drivers finishing the race.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
